Updated FRS testing? I hope they don't just throw on an intake and exhaust. That'd be really lame.

This is just a crack dream, but wouldn't it be awesome if they just slapped a turbo on it?
Nissan put a supercharger on some of the First gen Xterra's because power was abysmal.

I doubt it's possible, but I'd love to see a Supercharger from the OEM on these cars. Even if that meant they had to change the dimensions of the cars that resulted in a serious change in aesthetics.
Secondly, I don't think the aesthetics of this design will age very well. They're trying, but it seems a little .... unfinished maybe.

YES. That's what I want. But its doubtful. Idk why aftermarket has done it. They'd sell a lot more if it was turbo'd. But even if they put the 2.5L engine in it? How much heavier is that? And idk the power difference either.
Turbo all the way though. And some real tires itd be perfect.

Yeah, I'd imagine that if they turbo'd them and put some special badges (not STi), people would pay around $33-35k for it. How much is a TRD turbo kit? A dealership could make good money using a TRD turbo kit and selling the cars new with a turbo.
When the BRZ/FRS was first announced I was hoping it would be a NA inline 6. That's just my bmw fanboy showing lol.

Id pay that for it with 75 or so more TQ and 40 or so more HP. And that would make room for a cheaper sports car and still have a more expensive one like they plan.

yeah, I think a lot of people would buy it. Look at any build thread on a BRZ/FRS forum and they'll spend a few thousand on headers, exhaust, tunes, etc. for extremely small gains. Eventually they've surpassed the price of a turbo/supercharger kit. Why not just spend that money up front when you buy the car?
